A rich, creamy chocolate fudge that melts in your mouth perfect for satisfying sweet cravings or sharing as a homemade gift.

I first made this fudge to bring to a holiday party and it was a huge hit with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate & Dairy: 400 g (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, 340 g (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 60 g (4 tbsp) unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • Flavoring: 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Optional Add-Ins: 60 g (½ cup) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional), Pinch of sea salt (optional for sprinkling)

Instructions

Step 1:
Line a 20 cm (8-inch) square baking pan with parchment paper leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Step 2:
In a medium saucepan over low heat combine the sweetened condensed milk chocolate chips and butter. Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter are melted and the mixture is smooth.
Step 3:
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Fold in nuts if using.
Step 4:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Step 5:
If desired sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top.
Step 6:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
Step 7:
Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 24 squares and serve.
